Long time overdue!

So it's been forever and a day since I've updated on here...so I thought I would a little.  First off I would like to say how proud of myself I am!  This past Saturday Terry and I went to the mall for like the first time in forever.  I saw in Old Navy that jeans were on sale so I thought I would try some on to see if I could wear any in the store ( I had gotten bigger than they carry in stores and I hate buying jeans online unless I know they fit me right) I hate saying it but I will cause nobody really reads this anyways lol...I was a size 22 and i know last time I tried new clothes on awhile ago I was still a 20 but I always stay in between sizes.  I can lose 30 or 40 lbs and not go down a pant size.  Well i took a 18 and a 16 in the dressing room just to see.  Last time I wore a 16 was shortly after I got married when I started gaining weight back.  the smallest I've ever been was a 10/12 my senior year.  Well i didn't even know for sure if the 18s would fit me but i wanted to see how far away from a 16 i was...well I was brave and tried them on first.....and to my great suprise...they zipped ALL THE WAY...and they buttoned....and they didn't squeeze everything out the top just to make them fit either....I almost had a heart attack!  a 16?!!!  Honestly I'm still in shock...so now I gotta keep busting my butt so I can wear that 16 and keep going on my weight loss journey....Overall I've lost about 36 lbs and apparently 3 dress sizes!  It's giving me sooo much motivation to keep going!

On the book goal...I was doing really bad....it took me over 3 weeks just to finish a book that should've taken me one to three days at the most lol but I've slowly started getting back on track....I have completed 42 books and I'm working on 43 and 44. I should have read 50 books about 2 weeks ago so I'm about 15 books behind schedule! lol....but I'm working on it! 

Me and the hubby went to the Tim McGraw/Lady Antebellum/Love & Theft concert about a month ago at the OKC Zoo Amphitheater.  It was totally amazing!  We both had a blast!  Looking forward to the next concert with the hubby now!  It's actually the first concert we have went to together!  Then we stayed the night in Edmond and almost got flooded in the next morning....like for real!  We had to wait it out awhile in the hotel room and then we had to go straight home because you couldn't drive anywhere because of the flood waters. Parts of the interstate were shut down and when it had reopened and we started going home....we saw all the abandoned cars everywhere...there was a mustang sitting on top of another car both pushed into a concrete wall from the force of the waters.....it was sooo crazy!  But we made it home safe and sound....just a lot earlier than we intended lol.

Well this is the first summer in like 4 years I didn't get  a kiddie pool for my yard...but there was good reasoning behind it....mom and dad finally bought an above ground pool!  So we go visit their's when the weathers nice enough....it's been a little crazy lately with all the rains we keep getting.  It also delayed our fireworks a week.  And then this was the worst show I've ever seen Marlow put on.....totally bad....if you missed it well be glad cause it was a big waste of time! lol

k well i think that's about all the rambling....oh wait that's not all...worst of all my car....the one I've had since I first got my license 9 years ago...died....so very sad!  I was and still am sad about it.....but we ended up getting a new one (or new to us) we bought mom and dad's silver escape from them.  I love it!  Even though I feel guilty since I feel like I'm letting the old car down moving on so well! lol....jk well sorta!  K that's really all the news now...any  ?? and I'll answer!  Until who know when...Ciao!

New car, Hector, and randomness ; )

Well it's the end of another long week....a very hectic one it seemed. I was the opener this week at the bank.....lol...I overslept twice and almost didn't make it in time(don't worry....i totally got there in time to pull up the computers and get  my stuff ready in time)......and I found 2 counterfeit $100's! (go me!). Last week at work we had a pet turtle...we named him Hector....he was crawling around out in the parking lot so we thought we would take him to a pond after work....Mandy (pictured with Hector) took him to his new home! Enough about work...well guess what!!!! Now it's the weekend! I'm super excited......looks like part of my plans have fallen through but that's cool cause I'll still have fun anyways! I'm thinking about starting another blog.....one with all my feet pics (if ya don't know just ask!) lol.....I think it would be kinda fun to chronicle if you will my feet and where they have traveled....let me know if you think it would be fun! lets see.....oh....well we bought a new car!! yay us!! It's a 2007 Chrysler Sebring and we love it!! I'll add a pic too! There are a few concerts coming up I am looking totally forward to...hopefully we can figure out how to buy tickets for them! lol....that's the hard part! lol....too many! My bro and his new wifey got back safely from their honeymoon in St Lucia....they brought me back a cool flip flop key chain with sand in it! and real sand from the beach and this cool fishy made out of a banana leaf...pretty cool if I don't say so myself! I found a cool thing at the dollar store last night....can't wait to use them...they are the plastic ice cubes that you freeze and are reusable shapes....I got some Hawaiian flower ones and some dice ones...super cute...hopefully i can have a luau this summer and use em then! lol...I love my little parties..even though it's usually only for 2-4 people lol.....I think I missed my calling! My brother's wedding...and other randomosity

Well yesterday was my little brother's wedding (sniffle, sniffle). Here's a few pics from the reception tables, one of me and dan, and one of the happy couple! It makes me feel old that he's married now! Well that and that he's graduated college already too. I shouldn't feel old since we're only 19 months apart lol but i do! He's growing up so fast on me! My mom's kinda sad too cause she's "lost" both of her kiddos already...( I think she's feeling a lil empty nest syndrome....just not totally). I'm really proud of him though. He's such a good guy and he's great for his bride (her name is Gretchen by the way). They make a cute couple...if ever opposites attract...it's these two! He's so laid back and easy going and she's high strung and just really full of life lol for lack of other words...but I love her to death! It's weird to think that I now have a sister in law! Well I guess I already do cause terry has a sis but i have one for my side of the family! Aww! And they wrote there own vows....so sweet....and Daniel's made me cry! He's so sweet to her!! He was talking about how it took them awhile to figure out if they should be lovers or friends but they became friends...best friends and also lovers....and he was talking about how he'll always be there to love, cherish and protect her....awww...just super sweet!! it makes me a lil teary eyed thinking about it! I got to stay up with him half the night before the wedding doing last minute errands....we ran to walmart from like 11 to 1:30ish the night/morning lol before...then I helped him stay up and get his stuff together and spend a lil time together before he got married...it was fun! They are now spending a week in St. Lucia in the Virgin Islands for their honeymoon...I hope they can relax and have a good time.....they called us to let us know they made it safe!!

On another note, I think I talked about Terry's car falling apart the other day...well we're trying to buy another car....hopefully we can buy this car tomorrow morning...wish me luck! We've been test driving it all weekend and really like it...it's a 2007 Chrysler Sebring and it's silver. We think we can get a pretty good deal on it and maybe it should be in our price range...so pray we get approved and all goes smoothly!! well that's all i can think of for the moment...

My First Blog (on here)

So I noticed that my friend Angel has a blog on here so I was looking at hers and decided I should just start one all of my own! I really don't have too many things going on in my life but I figured that I am usually good at talking about absolutely nothing!

Well this Saturday is my brother's wedding! I'm so excited for him! It makes me feel old though....I mean we're only about a year and a half apart in age but he's really growing up! He just graduated from USAO last Friday and now he's getting married! I just keep thinking...."wow. If I had went to college, I would have already graduated or be getting close to it!" That's crazy to me because it feels like I just got out of high school....yet I've already been married for 5 years now! Time flies by!

On another note, we are in the process of looking for a new car. Something like this should be totally exciting to me but we weren't exactly planning on buying for another few months or so....basically enough time for us to save up a little bit of a downpayment. Well we've basically got nothing saved and yet here we are. Earlier this week...well technically on Saturday, Terry's car died.....well I wish I would've taken a pic to prove it...but it was definately not drivable any farther than it went. Sounds nuts (trust me I wasn't sure what to think when Terry called and told me) but the front axel thing that is attached to the front two wheels of his car....well it decided it didn't want to be with the car anymore...they totally fell off the frame! It was crazy looking. Luckily, no one was hurt and he managed to get it off the highway and into an alleyway. He and his brother had just came back from Rush Springs (speed limit 70) and came back into Marlow where it changes from 40 to 30 mph when it happened. They could've been killed or seriously injured if it would've happened just 10 min earlier! Very thankful about that. Well we managed to find someone Monday morning to buy it from us and tow it from it's final resting place lol. We got a whopping $165 for it. So sad...so that totally doesn't help much for the new car fund. I'm hoping we can find something for around $8-10k. We can't really afford anything more than that right now. And I hope we can get approved for the loan without a co-signer. This is our first MAJOR purchase. We bought the car that died a few years ago and it was just a couple thousand so this is big to us.

Well I guess that's all that's on my mind today...or at this moment. Wish me luck with the car hunting!!
